  • Your tattoo might be infected if you see worsening redness/swelling, intense pain, warmth, or pus; normal healing involves mild redness/swelling that improves over time, so if symptoms worsen after a few days or include pus/fever, see a doctor immediately for treatment to prevent serious complications.
